Club sessions on Friday 3

Friday spreads across the day. Sokol Nebušice, in the north-west of Praha 6, runs its chess circle for children in the early afternoon in two groups, one after the other, but not during school holidays or public holidays. Later, TJ Kobylisy in Praha 8 trains its older group, which also takes younger players who already hold an Elo rating.

In the evening the club of ŠK Spartak Čelákovice, east of Prague on the Elbe, gathers in the clubroom of the town's Sokol hall; the same room hosts its Tour Čelákovice blitz rounds, which also start on Friday evenings. Friday is a good day to see an outlying club at its busiest, but the rounds follow the club's own season calendar.
