Rated tournaments in Prague 20

A rated tournament here counts for an international or Czech rating list. At the international end Prague offers round-robins and Futures groups at the International Chess Festival, the Prague Open with its summer edition, and the Gambit GM Closed events, several times a year. These draw visiting players and are run over a week or more.

For local players the rated calendar is mostly club-run and spread over weeks: the FIDE Open Na Smetance with one round each Friday in Vinohrady, the open club championships of SK OAZA in Krč and Šachový klub Bohnice, the Karlínský podzim in three blocks. The Prague individual and team championships of the federation are rated as well, as are some youth events.
